Web developer for Canada businesses

Websites, online stores and technical SEO across Canada — quoted in CAD, scoped in writing, built remotely from Islamabad. Every city with a page is listed below.

The terms for a Canadian client

These are set at country level and apply to every city on this page.

Currency CAD (C$)
Tax GST/HST at 5–15% depending on province — my invoices are zero-rated exports and carry no Canadian tax
Data protection PIPEDA federally, with Quebec Law 25 layered on top if you have Quebec customers
Transfer mechanism a written DPA naming Pakistan as the processing location, which PIPEDA requires you to disclose to your own customers
Payment rails Stripe, Interac e-Transfer for deposits, and Moneris where an existing merchant account has to stay
My working day, local time 00:00–09:00 — a shifted window is agreed in writing

What is different about building for Canada

Quebec Law 25 caught a lot of Canadian sites out: consent has to be explicit and granular, and the default cookie banner most agencies drop in does not meet it. I build the consent layer properly rather than bolting on a plugin.

All cities and towns by region

54 places across Canada. Each page carries the same CAD pricing and the same terms as above — tap any town for its own page. Coverage is remote, so a town missing from this list is still a town I can work with.

What I build for Canadian businesses

E-commerce website development I build online stores end to end — catalogue, cart, Stripe checkout, order emails and the technical SEO that gets them found. Six of the fifteen sites I have shipped are e-commerce builds, and every one of them takes real payments. From $150 · 7 days Technical SEO audits and implementation Most SEO audits hand you a 60-page document and an invoice. I am a developer first, so I find the problems and then fix them in the codebase — crawlability, indexation, schema, Core Web Vitals, and whether AI answer engines can read your site at all. From $80 · 3 days Business website development Most small business websites fail at one job: turning a stranger who searched for your service into a phone call. I build the version that does — three days, mobile-first, live on your own hosting, with the enquiry form tested before anybody sees it. From $80 · 3 days Custom website development A template is the right answer more often than developers like to admit. This page is about the times it is not — when the thing your business does has a shape no theme author anticipated, and forcing it into one costs more in permanent workarounds than building it properly would have cost once. From $200 · 10 days Web application development A website presents information. An application does work — it holds state, enforces rules, and produces something at the end. Most businesses that need the second one are running it on a spreadsheet nobody is allowed to sort, and paying for that in errors rather than in software. From $200 · 10 days

Canada coverage — common questions

Which Canada cities do you cover?
All 54 listed on this page, across 4 regions. Coverage is remote rather than territorial — there is no travel radius, because there is no travel. If your town is not listed the answer is still yes; the list is for navigation, not a limit.
What currency will a Canadian client be invoiced in?
CAD. Quotes, milestones and final invoices are all written in CAD so you are never comparing a converted number against a local supplier's quote. On tax: GST/HST at 5–15% depending on province — my invoices are zero-rated exports and carry no Canadian tax.
How do you handle Canadian customer data?
Your customers' data sits under PIPEDA federally, with Quebec Law 25 layered on top if you have Quebec customers. Sending it to a developer in Pakistan is a restricted transfer, and it is resolved by a written DPA naming Pakistan as the processing location, which PIPEDA requires you to disclose to your own customers — published and pre-signed on this site before you enquire.
What payment methods can a Canada checkout accept?
Stripe, Interac e-Transfer for deposits, and Moneris where an existing merchant account has to stay. Which combination is right depends on your basket size and your customers, and it is decided during scoping rather than defaulted to whatever the platform ships with.
What are your working hours from Canada?
My standard day lands at 00:00–09:00 your time, which barely touches a Canada working day. So Canada projects run on a deliberately shifted schedule, committed in writing, plus written updates you can read before you start. If that is not workable, hiring in your own timezone is a legitimate call.

Where this page sits

Every country covered is listed at all locations. The full commercial terms for this market — contracting, currency, and the data-transfer mechanism in detail — are on the Canada market page, which is the page to read before a procurement conversation. Pricing is published, the work page lists live client sites you can open, and how I work covers the process end to end.
