Acceptable use policy

Most acceptable use policies are written for platforms with users. This one is written for a website with readers and a practice with clients, so it covers both.

1. Using this website

• Read, quote, link and share freely
• Automated crawling for search and AI indexing is welcome and explicitly allowed in robots.txt
• Do not attempt to disrupt the site or gain unauthorised access to it or any connected system
• Do not place unreasonable automated load on it — a polite crawl rate is all anyone needs here
• Do not use the enquiry form for unsolicited commercial messages

2. The enquiry form

It exists so people with projects can reach me. It is not a route for marketing services to me, for link-building outreach, or for anything sent to thousands of addresses at once.

Submissions of that kind are deleted. The anti-spam policy sets out the position in full.

3. Work I will not build

This list is short and non-negotiable, and it is published so nobody spends a week on a scoping conversation that was never going to end in a project.

• Anything designed to deceive users about who they are dealing with or what they are buying — including cloned brand sites and fake storefronts
• Sites for schemes whose returns depend on recruiting more participants
• Systems for harvesting personal data without the knowledge of the people it belongs to
• Content designed to harass, defame or target an individual
• SEO tactics that violate search engine guidelines — link buying, private blog networks, cloaking, doorway pages, or fabricated review markup
• Anything unlawful in my jurisdiction or in yours

4. Why the SEO line is drawn there

Not squeamishness — arithmetic. Those tactics work until they are detected, and detection costs the asset rather than the gain. Every recovery I have seen cost more than the shortcut saved.

If a competitor is outranking you using them, the honest answer is that it is probably temporary, and building something durable in the meantime beats copying them.

5. Work I will take on with conditions

Restricted-category e-commerce

Payment processors have their own rules, and a build is worthless if the account is closed. Checked before scoping rather than after.

Sites naming third parties

Fine where the claims are accurate and evidenced.

Scraping tools

Legitimate uses exist. The build must respect robots.txt, rate limits and terms of service, and I will say so in the scope.

Adult or gambling sectors

Legal in many jurisdictions and outside what I take on. No judgement implied; it is simply not work I do.

6. Conduct during a project

Straightforward and reciprocal: clear communication, honest deadlines, and problems raised early rather than at the end.

I will tell you when something has slipped on the day I know about it, and I expect the same about content, decisions and payment.

7. Where I will end an engagement

• Abusive or discriminatory conduct toward me or anyone else
• A request to build something on the prohibited list, restated after I have declined it
• A request to misrepresent facts to a customer, a payment provider or a search engine
• Sustained non-payment with no conversation

Ending an engagement is a last resort and has not been common. Where it happens, the refund position in the refund policy applies in full — you are not penalised financially for a relationship ending.

8. Reporting misuse

If you believe this site is being used to host or link to something it should not, email anasrajpoot766@gmail.com. Security issues are better sent through the route in security.txt, which is monitored for exactly that.
