Nothing on this site guarantees search rankings, traffic or revenue, and nothing here is legal, tax or financial advice. The guides are published to be useful, not as professional advice for your specific situation, and technical guidance ages.

Most disclaimers exist to be quoted at somebody afterwards. This one exists so you know what you are buying before you buy it, which is a different purpose and produces a different document.
1. No ranking or traffic guarantee
No search ranking, traffic volume or position is promised, and none can honestly be. Search engines do not sell placement in organic results, nobody has a private arrangement with them, and anyone offering a guaranteed position is either buying links, targeting a term nobody searches, or both.
What is promised is specific: the technical barriers stopping a site from being crawled, rendered, indexed and understood get identified and removed, with evidence for each one.
2. No revenue or conversion guarantee
A website is one input into a business result. Pricing, market conditions, competition, the offer itself and how enquiries are handled all matter at least as much, and none of them are within my control.
3. Timescales for SEO results
Technical fixes such as indexation and crawl errors can show in Search Console within two to four weeks. Ranking movement realistically takes three to six months, and longer on a new domain with no authority.
Anyone quoting faster than that is describing a keyword with no competition, and it is worth asking which one.
4. The guides are not professional advice
The guides published here are general technical writing, drawn from real client work. They are not advice for your specific site, and applying a general recommendation to a situation it does not fit can make things worse.
Where a decision is significant, get it checked against your circumstances — by me or by anyone competent.
5. Not legal advice
This site discusses GDPR, data transfers, accessibility law, consumer rights and contract terms, because those things come up in real projects and ignoring them helps nobody.
I am a developer, not a solicitor. None of it is legal advice, and the legal documents on this site have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Before relying on any of it in a dispute — or signing with an enterprise or public-sector client — have it reviewed properly.
6. Not tax or financial advice
The VAT, GST/HST and reverse-charge positions described on the market pages are my own supplier position, published so your accountant has something concrete to work from. They are not advice about your obligations, which depend on your entity, your registration status and your jurisdiction.
7. Code examples
Code published in the guides is illustrative. It is written to explain a principle clearly rather than to be production-hardened, and it comes with no warranty of any kind.
Test anything you take from here in your own environment before it touches live customer data or money.
8. Third-party services
Descriptions of Stripe, WordPress, Cloudflare, Google Search Console and other third-party products reflect how they behaved when written. Those products change on their own schedule, and their pricing, policies and APIs are entirely outside my control.
9. Accuracy over time
Every guide carries a visible last-updated date. Search engine behaviour, standards and platform defaults all move, and a statement accurate in 2026 may not be in 2028. The date is published so you can weigh that yourself rather than assuming freshness.
10. Client work described here
Case studies describe what was built and the decisions taken. They contain no traffic figures, ranking positions, conversion rates or revenue numbers, because none of those can be substantiated from what is properly known about those projects.
That absence is deliberate. An invented percentage is a claim you can be asked to evidence on a sales call, and failing that question costs more than the claim ever earned.
11. External links
Links to other sites are provided because they are useful. They are not endorsements, and I am not responsible for the content, availability or practices of any site I do not run.
12. Availability
No uptime commitment is made for this website. Service levels for paid work are separate and are set out in the service level statement.
13. Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, I accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on information published on this site. Liability arising from paid work is addressed in the terms of business, and nothing anywhere limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Not legal advice
This document is written in plain English by the person it binds. It has not been reviewed by a solicitor, and it is not legal advice to you.
Before relying on it in a dispute, or before signing with an enterprise or public-sector client, have it reviewed by a qualified professional in your jurisdiction. That instruction is on the page rather than in a footnote because it is genuinely meant.
