Web developer in Moncton
Websites, online stores and technical SEO for Moncton businesses — built remotely from Islamabad, quoted in CAD, scoped in writing before anything starts.
If your Moncton business gets most of its work through word of mouth, your website has a narrower job than you have probably been told. It is not there to find strangers. It is there to reassure someone who already has your name and is checking whether you look real. That is a much easier site to build, and much cheaper.
What working with a Canadian client actually changes
These are the terms that differ by country rather than by town. They apply to every business in Canada, Moncton included, and they are the substance of what this page is claiming.
| Quoted and invoiced in | CAD — never a converted figure presented at the end |
|---|---|
| Tax position | GST/HST at 5–15% depending on province — my invoices are zero-rated exports and carry no Canadian tax |
| Your customers' data sits under | PIPEDA federally, with Quebec Law 25 layered on top if you have Quebec customers |
| Lawful transfer mechanism | a written DPA naming Pakistan as the processing location, which PIPEDA requires you to disclose to your own customers |
| Checkout can realistically use | Stripe, Interac e-Transfer for deposits, and Moneris where an existing merchant account has to stay |
| My day, in Moncton time | 00:00–09:00 — which barely touches your working day, so a shifted window is agreed in writing instead |
One thing worth knowing about building for Canada
Quebec Law 25 caught a lot of Canadian sites out: consent has to be explicit and granular, and the default cookie banner most agencies drop in does not meet it. I build the consent layer properly rather than bolting on a plugin.
Why the Moncton quote lists exclusions as well as inclusions
Every quote I send names what is not included as explicitly as what is. Copywriting from scratch, photography, logo design, ongoing content, paid advertising and third-party licence fees are the usual ones. A quote listing only inclusions is not cheaper — it is the same price with the arguments deferred to later.
This is unpopular at the proposal stage and it is the reason fixed prices hold. Someone comparing three quotes for a Moncton project is usually comparing three different scopes without realising it, and the cheapest one is very often the one that excluded the most while saying the least.
Professional services in Moncton
Accountants, solicitors, consultants and agencies sell judgement, which cannot be photographed. What converts instead is specificity: the sectors you actually work in, the size of client you actually serve, and named people with real biographies. A professional services site full of stock imagery and the word "bespoke" is indistinguishable from every competitor in Moncton.
Practically, the site's job is qualification rather than lead volume. Publishing your minimum engagement size loses you enquiries and saves you hours, and almost every practice I have built for concluded afterwards that it should have done it sooner.
Structured data that is missing, wrong, or quietly lying
Schema markup is how a search engine reads what a page means rather than only what it says. Missing it costs you rich results. Getting it wrong is worse: marking up review stars you do not have, or a LocalBusiness at an address that is not yours, risks a manual action rather than a ranking.
Every page I build carries schema matching what is actually on it and nothing beyond that. The restraint is deliberate — this page uses Service and areaServed rather than LocalBusiness, precisely because there is no physical presence in Moncton to assert.
Hiring a developer who is not in Moncton
Distance costs you two specific things and I would rather name them than let you discover them. The first is spontaneous communication: you cannot walk in. The second is legal recourse, which is genuinely harder across borders. The first is handled by a fixed weekly call and a shared board you can read without asking. The second is handled by milestones — you pay for work already delivered and reviewable, never for work promised.

Priced for Moncton specifically
What I am not claiming about Moncton
A location page is the easiest place on a website to imply something untrue, so here is the other side of it plainly:
- I have no office, postal address or phone number in Moncton
- I cannot meet you in person, and if that is a requirement you should hire locally
- I am not claiming existing clients in Moncton specifically — my live work is listed on the work page and you can check it
- Nothing on this page is a guarantee of search rankings, which no developer can honestly offer
Moncton web development — common questions
- Do you build on WordPress or something custom?
- Whichever the project justifies. WordPress when you need to edit content constantly and want a familiar admin. A static build when speed and security matter more than a plugin ecosystem. Custom PHP and MySQL when the logic is genuinely yours. The choice is explained in the quote with its trade-offs, not presented as a foregone conclusion.
- Can you migrate my Moncton site without losing rankings?
- Yes, and the redirect map is the whole job. Every existing URL is mapped to its new equivalent with a 301 before launch, and anything with no equivalent goes to the closest relevant page rather than the homepage. Sites lose rankings in migration because that mapping was skipped, not because migration is inherently risky.
- Will the site actually rank in Moncton search results?
- The build handles what is technically controllable: crawlable HTML, correct headings, structured data, fast pages, a clean sitemap and Search Console set up on day one. Ranking also depends on your competitors, your domain's age and the links pointing at you, which no developer controls. Anyone guaranteeing a position is guessing or lying.
- What happens if I am not happy with the result?
- Work is delivered in milestones against a written scope, and you review each one on a staging URL before it is paid for. If the delivered milestone does not match the scope, it gets corrected before anything moves forward. That structure exists so disagreement is resolved at the stage it happens rather than at the end when it is expensive.
- How much does a website cost in Moncton?
- A business website starts from C$110 and goes live in about three days. An e-commerce build starts from C$210 in around seven days, and a custom application from C$270 in ten. Those are starting figures — the exact number is fixed in writing once scope is agreed, and it does not move after that.
- What currency will I be invoiced in?
- CAD. Quotes, milestones and the final invoice are all written in CAD so you are never comparing a converted figure against a local supplier's. Regarding tax: GST/HST at 5–15% depending on province — my invoices are zero-rated exports and carry no Canadian tax.
- Do I need to provide the content and images?
- Content, yes — you know your business and I do not. I will restructure and edit what you send so it reads for the web, and I will tell you where a section is missing. Photography is worth paying a local photographer for; stock images of people in offices are recognisable as stock and quietly cost you credibility.
