Should I use Bing Webmaster Tools?
Yes, and it takes ten minutes because it imports directly from Google Search Console. Bing traffic will be a small fraction of Google for most sites — the reason to do it is that Bing’s index feeds Microsoft Copilot, plus free keyword and backlink data.

The audience worth noticing
Bing skews toward desktop, older demographics and corporate networks where it is the enforced default. For a business selling to procurement-led buyers inside larger organisations, that audience is disproportionately valuable relative to its traffic share.

Import from Google Search Console. It copies the property and sitemap configuration in one step, which removes the reason most people never get round to it.
Setup, start to finish
- Sign in at bing.com/webmasters with a Microsoft account
- Choose "Import from Google Search Console" and authorise it
- Confirm the property and the sitemap carried across
- Generate an IndexNow key from inside the tool if you have not already
- Check the crawl report a week later — it surfaces different issues from Search Console
