Website redesign and modernisation in Frankfurt
The most common way a redesign goes wrong is not the design. It is that the new site ships with new URLs, no redirect map, and traffic that took four years to build disappears in a fortnight. Preventing that is a checklist, not a talent, and it is included here rather than sold as an extra. For Frankfurt businesses, quoted in EUR from $120, typically live in 5 days.
What website redesign and modernisation includes for a Frankfurt business
Fixed scope, agreed in writing before development starts. From $120, typically live in 5 days.
- Full crawl of the existing site before anything changes, so nothing is lost by accident
- A URL-by-URL redirect map, in a single hop, tested before launch and again after
- Modernised responsive design built mobile-first, on the content you already rank for
- Content migration with headings, internal links and metadata preserved deliberately rather than by luck
- Core Web Vitals brought inside the thresholds during the rebuild — images, fonts and render path
- Structured data rebuilt to match the new page types
- Post-launch indexation check: Search Console coverage, sitemap resubmitted, 404s monitored
- 30 days of snag fixes after go-live

Why this matters for Germany specifically
German law requires a compliant Impressum and Widerrufsbelehrung, and getting them wrong invites an Abmahnung — a formal cease-and-desist with costs attached. On German builds these are structural requirements, not footer decoration.
Why the Frankfurt quote lists exclusions as well as inclusions
Every quote I send names what is not included as explicitly as what is. Copywriting from scratch, photography, logo design, ongoing content, paid advertising and third-party licence fees are the usual ones. A quote listing only inclusions is not cheaper — it is the same price with the arguments deferred to later.
This is unpopular at the proposal stage and it is the reason fixed prices hold. Someone comparing three quotes for a Frankfurt project is usually comparing three different scopes without realising it, and the cheapest one is very often the one that excluded the most while saying the least.
Professional services in Frankfurt
Accountants, solicitors, consultants and agencies sell judgement, which cannot be photographed. What converts instead is specificity: the sectors you actually work in, the size of client you actually serve, and named people with real biographies. A professional services site full of stock imagery and the word "bespoke" is indistinguishable from every competitor in Frankfurt.
Practically, the site's job is qualification rather than lead volume. Publishing your minimum engagement size loses you enquiries and saves you hours, and almost every practice I have built for concluded afterwards that it should have done it sooner.
Analytics that has never once been looked at
Most sites carry a tracking tag and no measurement. Nobody defined what counts as a conversion, so the dashboard reports sessions and bounce rate — numbers that move up and down and change no decision anybody makes.
Useful measurement is narrow: form submissions, phone taps, WhatsApp clicks, and which pages preceded them. Four numbers checked monthly beat forty never opened, and knowing which Frankfurt search terms actually produce enquiries is what turns the site from a cost into something you can steer.
What I am not claiming about Frankfurt
- I have no office, postal address or phone number in Frankfurt
- I cannot meet you in person, and if that is a requirement you should hire locally
- I am not claiming existing clients in Frankfurt specifically — my live work is listed on the work page and you can check it
- Nothing on this page is a guarantee of search rankings, which no developer can honestly offer
Website redesign and modernisation in Frankfurt — common questions
- How do you handle our customers' data under EU GDPR?
- Your customer data is governed by the EU GDPR and the BDSG, enforced by notably active state authorities, and sending it to a developer in Pakistan is a restricted transfer. That is resolved by a DPA with EU Standard Contractual Clauses and a documented transfer impact assessment, published on this site and pre-signed before you send an enquiry — not drafted after you ask about it.
- What payment methods can my Frankfurt checkout accept?
- For Germany: Stripe, SEPA Direct Debit, Klarna, giropay, and PayPal — which carries unusually high share here. The right combination depends on your average basket and your customers, and picking wrong is expensive — the payment method a buyer expects but cannot find is one of the most common reasons a checkout is abandoned at the final step.
- What currency will I be invoiced in?
- EUR. Quotes, milestones and the final invoice are all written in EUR so you are never comparing a converted figure against a local supplier's. Regarding tax: VAT at 19%, reverse-charged on imported services.
- Who owns the website when it is finished?
- You do, completely. The domain is registered in your name, hosting sits in your account, the code lives in a repository you control, and any payment provider account is opened in your business name. Credentials are handed to you as they are created rather than at the end, so you are never locked out of your own site.
- Can you fix my existing site rather than rebuild it?
- Often, yes, and it is usually the cheaper answer. Speed problems, a broken mobile layout, a form that silently fails or missing structured data are all fixable on the site you already have. I will tell you which of the two you need after looking, and a rebuild only gets recommended when the fix would cost more than starting again.
- Do you provide ongoing maintenance after launch?
- Thirty days of snag fixes are included after launch at no extra cost — anything that does not work as specified gets fixed. Beyond that there are monthly plans for updates, backups, monitoring and small changes. They are optional and cancellable; a site handed over properly does not require a retainer to keep running.
- How long does a Frankfurt project actually take?
- Three days for a business site, seven for a store, ten for a custom application. That holds because the process is fixed rather than improvised and because your content exists on day one. What stretches a build is almost never the code — it is waiting for copy, logos and photographs, so those are requested before the clock starts.
