Business website development in Windsor

Most small business websites fail at one job: turning a stranger who searched for your service into a phone call. I build the version that does — three days, mobile-first, live on your own hosting, with the enquiry form tested before anybody sees it. For Windsor businesses, quoted in CAD from $80, typically live in 3 days.

What business website development includes for a Windsor business

Fixed scope, agreed in writing before development starts. From $80, typically live in 3 days.

The terms for a Canadian client

Starting price From $80, quoted and invoiced in CAD
Typical timeline 3 days once content is supplied
Tax position GST/HST at 5–15% depending on province — my invoices are zero-rated exports and carry no Canadian tax
Data protection PIPEDA federally, with Quebec Law 25 layered on top if you have Quebec customers — resolved by a written DPA naming Pakistan as the processing location, which PIPEDA requires you to disclose to your own customers
Payment rails available Stripe, Interac e-Transfer for deposits, and Moneris where an existing merchant account has to stay
My day in Windsor time 00:00–09:00 — a shifted window is agreed in writing instead

Why this matters for Canada specifically

Quebec Law 25 caught a lot of Canadian sites out: consent has to be explicit and granular, and the default cookie banner most agencies drop in does not meet it. I build the consent layer properly rather than bolting on a plugin.

How a Windsor build is scoped before anything is written

Scope is fixed in writing before development starts, and the number in that document is the number on the invoice. For Windsor projects that document lists every page, every form, every integration and every third-party account the site will touch — priced in CAD, not converted at the end from something else.

The reason this matters more than it sounds: almost every dispute in web development is a scope dispute wearing a different hat. "Can you just add" is how a three-day build becomes a three-week one. Fixing scope up front does not stop you changing your mind; it makes the cost of changing your mind visible before you commit to it, which is the only honest way to run a fixed price.

Trades and field services in Windsor

Builders, electricians, plumbers, roofers and installers share one problem: the customer is deciding on their phone, often standing in the room with the problem, and they will call the first firm that looks like it will pick up. Three things decide it — the phone number tappable in the header, a coverage list naming their town, and photographs of your own finished work rather than stock.

The thing trades sites most often get wrong is the quote form. Asking for a full address, a project budget and a preferred start date before anything else is a form built for your admin convenience, not for the customer. Two fields and a photo upload will produce more enquiries than eight fields ever will, and the rest can be collected on the call you just earned.

Analytics that has never once been looked at

Most sites carry a tracking tag and no measurement. Nobody defined what counts as a conversion, so the dashboard reports sessions and bounce rate — numbers that move up and down and change no decision anybody makes.

Useful measurement is narrow: form submissions, phone taps, WhatsApp clicks, and which pages preceded them. Four numbers checked monthly beat forty never opened, and knowing which Windsor search terms actually produce enquiries is what turns the site from a cost into something you can steer.

What I am not claiming about Windsor

Business website development in Windsor — common questions

How do you handle our customers' data under PIPEDA federally?
Your customer data is governed by PIPEDA federally, with Quebec Law 25 layered on top if you have Quebec customers, and sending it to a developer in Pakistan is a restricted transfer. That is resolved by a written DPA naming Pakistan as the processing location, which PIPEDA requires you to disclose to your own customers, published on this site and pre-signed before you send an enquiry — not drafted after you ask about it.
What payment methods can my Windsor checkout accept?
For Canada: Stripe, Interac e-Transfer for deposits, and Moneris where an existing merchant account has to stay. The right combination depends on your average basket and your customers, and picking wrong is expensive — the payment method a buyer expects but cannot find is one of the most common reasons a checkout is abandoned at the final step.
How long does a Windsor project actually take?
Three days for a business site, seven for a store, ten for a custom application. That holds because the process is fixed rather than improvised and because your content exists on day one. What stretches a build is almost never the code — it is waiting for copy, logos and photographs, so those are requested before the clock starts.
What hours will you be available to us in Windsor?
Honestly: very little, by default. My standard day lands at 00:00–09:00 your time, which barely touches a Windsor working day. So Canada projects run on a deliberately shifted schedule — I commit in writing to a fixed daily window that falls inside your morning, plus asynchronous written updates you can read before you start. If a supplier in your own timezone is what you need, that is a legitimate reason to hire locally.
Do you actually work with businesses in Windsor?
Yes, remotely. I work with Canadian clients from Islamabad, quoting in CAD and invoicing in CAD. I have no office, address or phone number in Windsor and will not pretend otherwise. If your project needs someone physically present, hire locally — I will say so in the first reply rather than after a deposit.
How much does a website cost in Windsor?
A business website starts from C$110 and goes live in about three days. An e-commerce build starts from C$210 in around seven days, and a custom application from C$270 in ten. Those are starting figures — the exact number is fixed in writing once scope is agreed, and it does not move after that.
What currency will I be invoiced in?
CAD. Quotes, milestones and the final invoice are all written in CAD so you are never comparing a converted figure against a local supplier's. Regarding tax: GST/HST at 5–15% depending on province — my invoices are zero-rated exports and carry no Canadian tax.
