Web developer in Jhelum
Websites, online stores and technical SEO for Jhelum businesses — built remotely from Islamabad, quoted in PKR, scoped in writing before anything starts.
The useful question is not what a website in Jhelum costs. It is what one enquiry is worth to you, because that number decides everything else. A business where a lead is worth four figures should not be optimising a build down to the last hundred; a business selling a low-margin product cannot afford a bespoke platform. I ask this first and it changes the recommendation more often than not.
What working with a Pakistani client actually changes
These are the terms that differ by country rather than by town. They apply to every business in Pakistan, Jhelum included, and they are the substance of what this page is claiming.
| Quoted and invoiced in | PKR — never a converted figure presented at the end |
|---|---|
| Tax position | sales tax on services at the provincial rate; invoices issued in PKR |
| Your customers' data sits under | the draft Personal Data Protection Bill, with sectoral SBP rules already binding on fintech |
| Lawful transfer mechanism | not applicable — the data never leaves the country |
| Checkout can realistically use | Stripe is not available domestically, so builds use JazzCash, Easypaisa, Safepay or a direct bank integration |
| My day, in Jhelum time | 09:00–18:00 — the same hours you keep |
One thing worth knowing about building for Pakistan
This is the one country where I can meet you in person, invoice in rupees, take payment by local bank transfer and run milestone meetings face to face. Every other page in this section says the opposite, because it is true everywhere else.
Why the Jhelum quote lists exclusions as well as inclusions
Every quote I send names what is not included as explicitly as what is. Copywriting from scratch, photography, logo design, ongoing content, paid advertising and third-party licence fees are the usual ones. A quote listing only inclusions is not cheaper — it is the same price with the arguments deferred to later.
This is unpopular at the proposal stage and it is the reason fixed prices hold. Someone comparing three quotes for a Jhelum project is usually comparing three different scopes without realising it, and the cheapest one is very often the one that excluded the most while saying the least.
Property, lettings and estate agencies in Jhelum
Property sites live or die on search and filtering. A listing grid that cannot be filtered by the three things buyers actually care about — price, bedrooms, area — sends people to the portals, and once they are on a portal you are competing on fee with every other agency in Jhelum.
The technical half is feed handling: listings usually arrive from a CRM in a format designed two decades ago, and keeping the site, the portals and the window cards in agreement is where the real work sits. It is worth doing properly, because a property still showing as available after it is let generates the angriest phone calls in the business.
Structured data that is missing, wrong, or quietly lying
Schema markup is how a search engine reads what a page means rather than only what it says. Missing it costs you rich results. Getting it wrong is worse: marking up review stars you do not have, or a LocalBusiness at an address that is not yours, risks a manual action rather than a ranking.
Every page I build carries schema matching what is actually on it and nothing beyond that. The restraint is deliberate — this page uses Service and areaServed rather than LocalBusiness, precisely because there is no physical presence in Jhelum to assert.
Hiring a developer who is not in Jhelum
The question worth asking a remote supplier is not "where are you" but "what happens if you vanish". My answer is the handover: the repository, the hosting and the domain are in your name from the first week, not the last. Any competent developer in Jhelum could take over the project mid-build without calling me, and that is the only guarantee that means anything at this distance.
What I build for Jhelum businesses
Fixed-scope, fixed-price, quoted in PKR. The full list is on the services page.
Priced for Jhelum specifically
What I am not claiming about Jhelum
A location page is the easiest place on a website to imply something untrue, so here is the other side of it plainly:
- I have no office, postal address or phone number in Jhelum
- I cannot meet you in person outside Islamabad and Rawalpindi, and if that is a requirement you should hire locally
- I am not claiming existing clients in Jhelum specifically — my live work is listed on the work page and you can check it
- Nothing on this page is a guarantee of search rankings, which no developer can honestly offer
Jhelum web development — common questions
- Do I need to provide the content and images?
- Content, yes — you know your business and I do not. I will restructure and edit what you send so it reads for the web, and I will tell you where a section is missing. Photography is worth paying a local photographer for; stock images of people in offices are recognisable as stock and quietly cost you credibility.
- Can you migrate my Jhelum site without losing rankings?
- Yes, and the redirect map is the whole job. Every existing URL is mapped to its new equivalent with a 301 before launch, and anything with no equivalent goes to the closest relevant page rather than the homepage. Sites lose rankings in migration because that mapping was skipped, not because migration is inherently risky.
- How much does a website cost in Jhelum?
- A business website starts from Rs22,000 and goes live in about three days. An e-commerce build starts from Rs42,000 in around seven days, and a custom application from Rs56,000 in ten. Those are starting figures — the exact number is fixed in writing once scope is agreed, and it does not move after that.
- Do you actually work with businesses in Jhelum?
- Yes, remotely. I work with Pakistani clients from Islamabad, quoting in PKR and invoicing in PKR. I have no office, address or phone number in Jhelum and will not pretend otherwise. If your project needs someone physically present, hire locally — I will say so in the first reply rather than after a deposit.
- Who owns the website when it is finished?
- You do, completely. The domain is registered in your name, hosting sits in your account, the code lives in a repository you control, and any payment provider account is opened in your business name. Credentials are handed to you as they are created rather than at the end, so you are never locked out of your own site.
- What currency will I be invoiced in?
- PKR. Quotes, milestones and the final invoice are all written in PKR so you are never comparing a converted figure against a local supplier's. Regarding tax: sales tax on services at the provincial rate; invoices issued in PKR.
- What payment methods can my Jhelum checkout accept?
- For Pakistan: Stripe is not available domestically, so builds use JazzCash, Easypaisa, Safepay or a direct bank integration. The right combination depends on your average basket and your customers, and picking wrong is expensive — the payment method a buyer expects but cannot find is one of the most common reasons a checkout is abandoned at the final step.
