Web developer in Jeddah

Websites, online stores and technical SEO for Jeddah businesses — built remotely from Islamabad, quoted in SAR, scoped in writing before anything starts.

The useful question is not what a website in Jeddah costs. It is what one enquiry is worth to you, because that number decides everything else. A business where a lead is worth four figures should not be optimising a build down to the last hundred; a business selling a low-margin product cannot afford a bespoke platform. I ask this first and it changes the recommendation more often than not.

What working with a Saudi client actually changes

These are the terms that differ by country rather than by town. They apply to every business in Saudi Arabia, Jeddah included, and they are the substance of what this page is claiming.

Quoted and invoiced in SAR — never a converted figure presented at the end
Tax position VAT at 15%, reverse-charged on imported services
Your customers' data sits under the Personal Data Protection Law enforced by SDAIA
Lawful transfer mechanism the PDPL restricts transfers abroad, so the DPA records the safeguards and the purpose limitation in writing
Checkout can realistically use Stripe, HyperPay, Moyasar, and mada for domestic cards
My day, in Jeddah time 07:00–16:00 — about 7 hours inside a normal working day

One thing worth knowing about building for Saudi Arabia

mada is not optional. A Saudi checkout that only accepts Visa and Mastercard loses a large share of domestic buyers at the payment step, and that single integration decision moves conversion more than anything on the product page.

Why the Jeddah quote lists exclusions as well as inclusions

Every quote I send names what is not included as explicitly as what is. Copywriting from scratch, photography, logo design, ongoing content, paid advertising and third-party licence fees are the usual ones. A quote listing only inclusions is not cheaper — it is the same price with the arguments deferred to later.

This is unpopular at the proposal stage and it is the reason fixed prices hold. Someone comparing three quotes for a Jeddah project is usually comparing three different scopes without realising it, and the cheapest one is very often the one that excluded the most while saying the least.

Professional services in Jeddah

Accountants, solicitors, consultants and agencies sell judgement, which cannot be photographed. What converts instead is specificity: the sectors you actually work in, the size of client you actually serve, and named people with real biographies. A professional services site full of stock imagery and the word "bespoke" is indistinguishable from every competitor in Jeddah.

Practically, the site's job is qualification rather than lead volume. Publishing your minimum engagement size loses you enquiries and saves you hours, and almost every practice I have built for concluded afterwards that it should have done it sooner.

Structured data that is missing, wrong, or quietly lying

Schema markup is how a search engine reads what a page means rather than only what it says. Missing it costs you rich results. Getting it wrong is worse: marking up review stars you do not have, or a LocalBusiness at an address that is not yours, risks a manual action rather than a ranking.

Every page I build carries schema matching what is actually on it and nothing beyond that. The restraint is deliberate — this page uses Service and areaServed rather than LocalBusiness, precisely because there is no physical presence in Jeddah to assert.

Hiring a developer who is not in Jeddah

Distance costs you two specific things and I would rather name them than let you discover them. The first is spontaneous communication: you cannot walk in. The second is legal recourse, which is genuinely harder across borders. The first is handled by a fixed weekly call and a shared board you can read without asking. The second is handled by milestones — you pay for work already delivered and reviewable, never for work promised.

What I build for Jeddah businesses

Fixed-scope, fixed-price, quoted in SAR. The full list is on the services page.

E-commerce website development I build online stores end to end — catalogue, cart, Stripe checkout, order emails and the technical SEO that gets them found. Six of the fifteen sites I have shipped are e-commerce builds, and every one of them takes real payments. From $150 · 7 days Technical SEO audits and implementation Most SEO audits hand you a 60-page document and an invoice. I am a developer first, so I find the problems and then fix them in the codebase — crawlability, indexation, schema, Core Web Vitals, and whether AI answer engines can read your site at all. From $80 · 3 days Business website development Most small business websites fail at one job: turning a stranger who searched for your service into a phone call. I build the version that does — three days, mobile-first, live on your own hosting, with the enquiry form tested before anybody sees it. From $80 · 3 days Custom website development A template is the right answer more often than developers like to admit. This page is about the times it is not — when the thing your business does has a shape no theme author anticipated, and forcing it into one costs more in permanent workarounds than building it properly would have cost once. From $200 · 10 days Web application development A website presents information. An application does work — it holds state, enforces rules, and produces something at the end. Most businesses that need the second one are running it on a spreadsheet nobody is allowed to sort, and paying for that in errors rather than in software. From $200 · 10 days

What I am not claiming about Jeddah

A location page is the easiest place on a website to imply something untrue, so here is the other side of it plainly:

Jeddah web development — common questions

What payment methods can my Jeddah checkout accept?
For Saudi Arabia: Stripe, HyperPay, Moyasar, and mada for domestic cards. The right combination depends on your average basket and your customers, and picking wrong is expensive — the payment method a buyer expects but cannot find is one of the most common reasons a checkout is abandoned at the final step.
How long does a Jeddah project actually take?
Three days for a business site, seven for a store, ten for a custom application. That holds because the process is fixed rather than improvised and because your content exists on day one. What stretches a build is almost never the code — it is waiting for copy, logos and photographs, so those are requested before the clock starts.
Who owns the website when it is finished?
You do, completely. The domain is registered in your name, hosting sits in your account, the code lives in a repository you control, and any payment provider account is opened in your business name. Credentials are handed to you as they are created rather than at the end, so you are never locked out of your own site.
How do you handle our customers' data under Personal Data Protection Law enforced by SDAIA?
Your customer data is governed by the Personal Data Protection Law enforced by SDAIA, and sending it to a developer in Pakistan is a restricted transfer. That is resolved by the PDPL restricts transfers abroad, so the DPA records the safeguards and the purpose limitation in writing, published on this site and pre-signed before you send an enquiry — not drafted after you ask about it.
Do you provide ongoing maintenance after launch?
Thirty days of snag fixes are included after launch at no extra cost — anything that does not work as specified gets fixed. Beyond that there are monthly plans for updates, backups, monitoring and small changes. They are optional and cancellable; a site handed over properly does not require a retainer to keep running.
Will the site actually rank in Jeddah search results?
The build handles what is technically controllable: crawlable HTML, correct headings, structured data, fast pages, a clean sitemap and Search Console set up on day one. Ranking also depends on your competitors, your domain's age and the links pointing at you, which no developer controls. Anyone guaranteeing a position is guessing or lying.
What hours will you be available to us in Jeddah?
My working day lands at 07:00–16:00 in your time, which is roughly 7 hours inside a normal Jeddah working day. In practice you can raise something in the morning and have it answered the same morning, and a scheduled call is easy to place at a civilised hour for both of us.

Also covering Kingdom

Same terms, same currency, same process — these are the other Kingdom towns with a page here.

Where this page sits

This page covers Jeddah. Every other town in Saudi Arabia is listed on the Saudi Arabia coverage page, and the full worldwide list is at all locations.

Before you enquire: pricing is published rather than quoted on request, how I work covers the process end to end, the work page lists live client sites you can open, and vendor information answers the procurement questions.
