Domains, delivery and craft
What is Product page?
The page where a buyer decides. It has to answer objections in order — what this is, whether it suits me, what it costs delivered, when it arrives, and what happens if it is wrong — because every unanswered question is a reason to leave.
Also called: product detail page · PDP
What belongs above the fold
- The specific product name, so the buyer confirms they are in the right place
- A real photograph, with something for scale
- The price, and the delivery cost or the rule for calculating it
- Availability and a delivery date rather than a vague promise
- The primary action, without competition from three other buttons
Where the content should come from
Your support inbox. Every pre-sale question you answer repeatedly is a gap on the page, and closing the top five usually lifts conversion more than a redesign does — at a fraction of the cost and with none of the risk.
The structured data rules
Product schema with price, currency, availability and condition, matching the visible page exactly. Review markup only for genuine customer reviews shown on the page; self-authored ratings are the most commonly penalised structured-data violation there is.

A definition can only go so far. The e-commerce SEO checklist, in the order the checks actually matter covers this properly — 3 minutes, free, no email required.
